In 2024, approximately 11,70,048 students appeared for JEE Mains 2024 Session 1 and 11,79,569 students registered for JEE Mains 2024 Session 2. Over 1,91,000 students applied for admission to approximately 17,385 seats across 23 IITs through JEE Advanced 2024. About 9,24,636 common candidates registered in both sessions (January/April) of the JEE Main 2024, out of which approximately48,248 candidates qualified for JEE Advanced 2024.
JEE Advanced 2025 is expected to pose intense competition. Of the total seats, 20% are reserved under the female-supernumerary quota. Hope this helps.

Admission for M.Sc course for working professionals in BITS is ongoing till December 23, 2024. If you are a working professional then you can apply for admission online at bits-pilani.ac.in/admissions. However, before you proceed to apply for the course, make sure that you have graduated with a B.Sc degree with a minimum of 50%. M.Sc course admission in BITS varies based on the specializations. For M.Sc in Mathematics and Physics, you will need to qualify the BITSAT 2025 exam, registration for which is expected to begin in January. The expected date for BITSAT exam is May-June. However, for other courses such as M.Sc. Information Systems, M.Sc. in Business Analytics etc. the admission will be conducted based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination.
